Water is one more essential thing for life on earth. Water is some thing each one of us comes in to contact with every day. The objective of this experiment is to educate children about the fundamental characteristics of water.emphasizing its tastelessness, odorlessness, colornessless and shapelessness.

Experiment Sinking & Floating (July 18th)

  Play is the work of the child. How objects float and sink in water is shown through an experiment.      Transparent bowl with water and different kinds of objects which sink and float are given. Children dropped the objects one by one and identified the objects as sinking and floating. Children understood that things which will float are light weight and things which sink are heavy.

Blue Color Day Day (June 12th)

Teachers arranged a blue corner decorated with blue coloured objects. Our little Rimians were dressed in shades of blue, shining brightly. Class group activity was done. These activity charts were hung on the blue corner. Soon after the activity, each class along with the students took group photos in front of the blue corner. M3 students brought their favourite blue coloured object and spoke few sentences about it. They were very happy and enjoyed well. View this post on Instagram

Doctor’s Day (July 1st)

To honour and express gratitude towards all doctors, Doctors’ Day was celebrated with great zeal. Students met and greeted their family doctors and presented them with the cards they had made as a class activity.Interactive sessions for the students were organized. Dr Sameena Shamsudhen (Consultant: Dental, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Sreechand Speciality Hospital) and Dr Mridula Shankar (Consultant Paediatrician Govt. International Yoga Day (June 21st)

A special Yoga session was conducted for the children. Teachers demonstrated some simple and beginner, standing and sitting poses which were performed by the students. The benefits of the postures were narrated by the teacher and students performed with the instructions. All the students participated eagerly by following the instructions. World Environment Day (June 5th)

For Grades I – V a special assembly was conducted by the students in which Fathima of grade one performed a solo skit which was based on the theme of the year ‘Beat the plastic pollution’. Students rendered speeches and sang songs to mark the occasion. Pre- Primary students were shown and AV related to the environment.
